Dear PWA members, partners, and friends,
Let me be among the first to wish you a happy spring! This spring, perhaps, seems all the more miraculous to many as we transition.
My personal hope is that we are, each in our own way, able to engage our humanity and our intellectual resources to promote community, peace, and security in the difficult times ahead.
I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the tragic events in Ukraine and those impacted by the ongoing conflict. The PWA is a global community of professionals, and many of us have family roots, personal connections, and collaborators in Eastern Europe. Please exhibit patience and kindness with one another as we fervently hope for a swift and peaceful resolution.
Individually and collectively, your support and participation breathe life into the PWA mission to promote gender equality, empowerment, lifelong learning, and leadership of women in the world of work. We are still navigating through an ever-changing landscape of information and guidance regarding COVID-19.
I am grateful to all of you for your presence, patience, and resilience during these challenging times. Remember you are important! We welcome your participation in the initiatives that help us sustain our vibrant, dynamic, and collaborative PWA community. We strive to uphold professionalism, diversity, and inclusion in all that we do.
