Dear Members, Partners, and Friends,

This powerful quote by Helen Keller will forever stand the test of time. If you were to ask anyone one year ago today what they thought their largest challenge would be in 2020, likely none could have predicted a global pandemic and the massive disruption it has brought to countless sectors across the world.

The question I kept asking myself is how can PWA provide timely value for our members and in our community? This considering the setbacks most of us are still enduring during a global pandemic caused by Covid19, with a background of protests over racial injustice and record unemployment.

Since 1992, PWA is a unique place for empowered women who have distinguished themselves for their skills, human qualities, courage, sensitivity, and determination but also models to follow for the younger generations. We made it our mission to support professional women from diverse cultural environments and under my leadership, we will lead initiatives to empower women to thrive through continual transformation.

The challenges of understanding the needs of our members now and of creating outstanding networking experiences and running our core activities almost 100% online are obvious.

The opportunity to offer a successful professional exclusive face to face networking ConneXion at the terrace of NH Hotel Fori Imperiali was a good sign. Imagine a pleasant aperitif with a breathtaking view of the Roman Forum! And tonight expect a chance to learn from a world-class speaker!
