Major Casetti will share her insights as first female pilot joining the Italian Air Force in 2000.

More about our speaker:
Major Casetti was born in Casalmaggiore (CR) on the 31st January 1980.
She graduated in a Secondary High School specialized in foreign languages in 1998 and entered the Air Force Academy on the 23rd of August 2000 joining the Course Aquila V (fifth). This was the first course permitting the recruitment of women in the Air Force.
In 2004 she graduated in Political Sciences and Foreign Affairs.
She had pilot training in Vance Air Force Base, Enid (Oklahoma) and got her Military Pilot Licence in 2006, one year later she also got her Military Helicopter Pilot Licence at the Italian Air Force 72nd Wing in Frosinone.
She flew as Search and Rescue pilot on HH-3F Helicopters and in 2010 moved to the 31st Wing in Ciampino where she is still on duty today.
She is the Commander of the Crew Training Centre and flies Airbus 319 e Falcon 50 of the State fleet. She flies with passion on State flights and Hospital flights.
She is married to Antonio and is mother of two children: Giulio (4 years old) and Nicolò (1 year and a half).
