Corrado Veneziano
Corrado Veneziano began painting from a very early age, continuing an important family tradition. He initially pursued the theatrical career, beginning his studies at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan and being engaged several times as a theatre director for the Venice Biennale. He then followed the educational career.
His first exhibition was organised in 2013, following the support of Achille Bonito Oliva and Marc Augé. He then presented his works in 2014 in Brussels at the invitation of the Embassy and the Institute of Italian Culture. His exhibition was curated by Derrick de Kerckhove. In 2015 Rai commissioned him the logo of the 67th Prix Italia and he exhibited in Paris in the Espace en Cours curated by Julie Heintz.
In 2016 he exhibits in the St Petersburg’s Gallery Nevsky 8. In 2017, he is invited by the Chinese Government to present his works at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Lanzhou, with an exhibition curated by Wu Weidung. In the same year he won together with Paola Ricci the international competition Marine Litter Art. Sponsored and funded by the European Union, the Sicily Region and the municipalities of the Agrigento, the competition focused on the relationship between art and environmental recycling.
In 2018 Corrado devoted himself entirely to the study and reinterpretation of the Atlantic Code of Leonardo da Vinci. His “Leonardo Atlantico” exhibition was part of the French program for the celebration of 500 years since Leonardo da Vinci’s death. This was the only exhibition of a leaving author. After the inauguration in Amboise, with the sponsorship of the Louvre Museum, the exhibition was hosted in Matera, Florence, Milan, Tunis, with the support of the respective municipalities, as well as the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Spazio Veneziano
Spazio Veneziano is a Home Gallery active since five years ago; with its large and bright spaces, it operates primarily as an exhibition space. The space is used by painters and photographers and serves also as an exhibition space for International embassies in Rome. Several exhibitions were organised with the Embassy of the Belgian Congo, Algeria, South Africa, Ukraine and Belgium.
Spazio Veneziano opens periodically to a more heterogeneous public, with a series of diversified cultural initiatives: poetry, classical and lyrical music, cinematography or chamber theatre.
Spazio Veneziano is part of the official programming of the Rome Open House and of the Rome Art Week exhibition organised with the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Rome.
