Born and raised in California, Martina Cupidi moved with her family to Italy where she completed her education, culminating in an undergraduate BS degree in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University in Milan and recently an MBA degree from LUISS University in Rome.
Martina started her professional career in Italy, then transferred back to California where she gained several years of professional experience in Silicon Valley startups, particularly in the Biotech and Supply-Chain SW sectors. Since her final return to Italy, Martina has been employed by a leading player in furniture retail – initially in administration, finance, and control roles, while currently, she is responsible for strategic marketing and programs.
Sensitive to issues of gender equity and equality, and a strong advocate against any forms of discrimination, Martina is actively involved in several charities. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, sport (functional training and SUP board), and a lot of meditation.
Martina is Italian/English bilingual and knows Spanish at a basic level.
