Dear PWA Members and Supporters,
As I conclude my tenure as President of the Professional Women’s Association of Rome, I am filled with gratitude for the remarkable journey we have shared. Serving as a Board Member since 2012 and as President since 2020, I have witnessed our tremendous growth, resilience, and impact over the past decade.
Under my leadership, we close this year with a positive cash balance, reflecting a 99% growth in our cash position. Our membership has expanded by 74%, with a 70% increase in Italian members and an 80% increase in foreign members, showcasing our commitment to diversity and inclusion. We have reached more than 2000 women and touched millions of lives through our thought leadership educational conferences and professional networking meetings.
Reflecting on my legacy, we see that our influence extends beyond the PWA community, positively impacting the broader business community by fostering leadership skills, promoting gender equity, and empowering women to achieve their personal and professional goals. These achievements highlight our shared dedication and the strong foundation we have built together. Our ability to adapt and innovate in the face of challenges is a testament to the power of women supporting women.
Sincerely, I am humbled by the resilience and strength of our community, especially during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, we have navigated adversity with grace and determination, emerging stronger and more united than ever.
My heartfelt thanks go to our Board Members and volunteers, whose dedication and hard work have been instrumental in our success. Most importantly, I thank each of our members for their trust and active support.
As I pass the torch to new leadership, I am confident that the Professional Women’s Association of Rome will continue to make a positive difference in the lives of women professionals in our community. The best practices we have established ensure that our association remains in capable hands and poised for continued success. I look forward to seeing the continued impact we will make together.
