REIMAGINING OUR FUTURES TOGETHER

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Dear PWA members, partners, and friends,

I am forever grateful for our community and we hope 2022 brings us back together again.

In the wake of COVID-19, it’s hard to know what’s normal and what falls under the ever-growing category of the “new normal.”

Getting support, ideas, and energy from your peers is invaluable in turbulent times. In PWA you’ll find your peers.

PWA provides many opportunities for its members to connect and share challenges and innovative ideas. We have long been at the forefront of exploring new ways to improve learning and growth for our members as professionals.

Make a commitment now to learn, grow, develop personal and professional life. Join us!

BOLD – every 1st Wednesday (online)
We hope to see you next week on Wednesday, February 2, when B.O.L.D (Building Opportunities through Learning and Development) sessions return, now as a monthly online workshop series, beginning with “No labels, no limits: unlock your potential by removing labels” with outstanding guest speaker Kathy Buckley, award-winning, actress, motivational speaker, and bestselling author.

Conference or ConneXion – every 3rd Wednesday (onsite/hybrid)
Connect with fellow professionals over networking aperitif conneXions and Conferences as we continue our work in strengthening the opportunities to reconnect with business professionals from diverse backgrounds and share unique cultural experiences! Don’t miss the upcoming conference in Fashion & Sustainability on February 16.

It is also crucial to reflect on the role that executive and professional development will play in the future. We are thrilled to announce that Rome Business School and John Cabot University renewed their partnership with us! With these collaborations, we aim to promote the value of international education and professional training.  In building the post-pandemic world, lifelong learning will become more important than ever because reskilling and upskilling of business professionals require effective partnerships between education providers and industry.

We are grateful to all of our members and partners, moreover, we are proud of our work with noted organizations such as G20 Women20, InclusioneDonna, EWMD, NoiD Telecom, UNIDO, AICEO, and Winning Women Institute for our continuous pursuit of innovation, excellence and social responsibility to empower women and achieve gender equity.

To the Board Members and team, I personally thank you all for your commitment, trust, and presence during these years. We will continue our mission to support women in their professional development and supports strategic partnerships that promote women’s economic empowerment, lifelong learning, and equal access to employment opportunities.

A supportive community to network, upskill and exchange ideas is vital to create new opportunities, I am nothing but hopeful for our future.

Sincerely,
Gerlie Saura
