The March issue of The People We Are is online! It is all about being smart about our safety, at work and home, while abroad and also when surfing the internet. You will find a colorful package with lots of resources, articles and materials.

The member feature is on Lisa Rosen, the candidate Treasurer for 2017-18. Lisa has lived both in the States as well as in Europe and considers herself an “Ameropean”. You can read about her career and passions in the article written by Valerie Baxter on pages 8 and 9.

You will find fun photos from our February Conference on Sex Drive and the March Multinational ConneXion at Rosso. There is also a photo re-cap on the IWD event, Trasteverine – ME2. We had a lovely day learning about the stories of ancient heroins and then a scrumptious lunch at Trattoria degli Amici where friendship and inclusion are truly celebrated!

Community Director Cristiana Montani Natalucci writes about 2.0 safety and Social Director Laura Rizzi presents Artemisia Gentileschi, a prominent and very courageous artist for her time. The series of poems by Elvira la Rocca and paintings by Rossana Chiani is continued with a new theme. So wait no more, start browsing!

If you’d like to contribute to The People We Are, send us your photos, articles, news, milestones & more for the April issue by April 12th. Send your stories to newslettereditor@pwarome.org ― it’s your mouthpiece, make the most of it!

Happy readings,
