•	Who we are: our Mission
	The Professional Women’s Association (PWA) is a non-profit networking organisation that unites, supports and promotes the interests of international professional and English-speaking women in Rome. Created in 1992, the PWA has always provided a friendly forum for women who like to network for personal and professional opportunities. We aim to learn from each other, to share information, ideas and resources, and to create mutual beneficial outcomes. Our members are women representing many different professions and levels of business management. Such as education, marketing, linguistics, law, medicine, travel, journalism, finance, gastronomy, small businesses, government bodies and the arts. They are multilingual and multicultural orientated, having lived and/or worked in more than one country.

•	What we do: our activity
	Monthly meetings The regular meeting features international guest speakers who may entertain on a wide variety of themes such as women leading change, careers, professional development, health and well-being, the arts, current affairs and culture. The registration desk opens at 6.30 p.m. with time to network before the guest speaker commences at 7.30 p.m. Once the meeting concludes at 9.00 p.m. a “networking dinner” is available in the hotel for members and their guests. Social events include a cocktail in December and June. Other events are organized throughout the year; supporting and co-operating with other networks with similar objectives, and with the aim of facilitating communication and enlarging our community. Workshops are held on Saturdays in autumn and spring. By either our members or other professionals who share their knowledge and experience on topical and current subjects.

•	Where we meet: a nice place to be
	Meetings are held at the ROSE GARDEN PALACE HOTEL, Via Boncompagni 19 (off Via Veneto Phone: +39.06.42.17.41 - Fax : +39.06.48.15.608), Rome, unless indicated otherwise, the third Wednesday of the month, from September through to June. In a luxury and quiet atmosphere we enjoy some light refreshments and lively conversation before the meetings.
