Women in Sport – pursuing gender equity
Both baseball supporters and feminist activists have strong beliefs, but how their support is channeled depends on how the media portrays them in social contexts. After some of the prominent women’s world tournaments there has been a wave of policies that support female athletes, with benefits like equal prize money and maternity leave. Raffaella Masciadri, Italian basketball champion and president of the Athlete Commission of the Italian National Olympic Committee, together with Gian Marco Sandri, Founder and CEO of Artmediamix and ArtmediaSport, will share their points of view and perspectives on the future of women in sport.
