The October issue of The People We Are is online! It is all about education and educational rights for all. You will find a colorful package with lots of resources, articles and materials. Read it now!

The member feature is on Rossana Scazzocchio, IT professional and PWA’s very own Webmistress. You can read her story written by Valerie Baxter on pages 8 and 9. Lisa R Tucci has collected physical and online resources on Education and Life Long Learning and President Valerie Baxter writes about the PWA – Smart City for Smart Women. We’d like to take the opportunity to welcome all new and old members to a great season and encourage everyone to take advantage of all the great opportunities – mentoring programs, scholarships, TIMEOUT TimeBank, events and contests – PWA offers.

You will find fun photos from past events – the October Eclectic Connexion at Argileto Residence and its relaxing rooftop Vitio bar. I also took advantage of the 10% discount they offer to PWA members and enjoyed a wonderful package of massage and spa with a friend. There is also a wrap-up of the highly interactive September Conference with Corrado Sterpetti.

Social Director Laura Rizzi examines the contemporary art exhibitions that Rome offers at the moment – what a great choice of exciting opportunities! Social Media Assistant Cristiana Montani Natalucci writes about education for African women. The series of poems by Elvira la Rocca and paintings by Rossana Chiani is continued with a new theme.

There is a new column by journalist Isabella De Rham and I recap my extraordinary experience at teh WINConference in September, from an inclusion point of view. So wait no more, start browsing!

If you’d like to contribute to The People We Are, send us your photos, articles, news, milestones & more for the November issue by November 9th. Send your stories to newslettereditor@pwarome.org ― it’s your mouthpiece, make the most of it!

Happy readings,
